Low cost no-frills hotel launched

A brand new style of hotel has opened its doors in London, using the low cost business model often seen on airlines. The Tune hotel is the first the company has launched in the UK, and is conveniently located in Westminster, London. Prices are extremely cheap for the location with a standard rate of just £35 per night – this can reach as little as £9 per night on promotions.

However, the low cost rooms do have reasoning behind them. The Tune hotel is based on a “no-frills” style format, so any optional extras you will need to budget as an additional cost. To name just a few examples, you will need to pay if you wish to use the room’s television, towels, hairdryer or internet.

Previously, Tune hotels could be seen in Malaysia amongst other places. It is thought that the Westminster hotel is already busy with bookings scheduled in from September onwards – this is a positive sign for the company which has rapid expansion plans to open further hotels in London, the UK and worldwide.
